Derek is from Pensacola, FL. Not only our Cleveland Manager, Derek is a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He teaches to bring his passion for coaching to motivate and inspire everyone he can to improve their health, fitness, and way of life. Derek brings bass heavy electronic and hip hop music coupled with his unmatched energy to help you achieve your goals and surpass your limits!
Tess is from Rocky River, OH. When she isn’t climbing, she is either working at Lululemon or spending time with her friends and family. Tess’ favorite part about being a Rise Nation Instructor is meeting new people within the community and seeing the excitement and sense of accomplishment on their faces after each class. Her class will bring a mix of electronic and hip hop music that is sure to energize you to reach your goals each and every day.
Dan grew up in Shaker Heights, OH and loves enjoying the outdoors. He became a Rise Nation Instructor to help guide people towards reaching their goals and becoming the best possible version of themselves. Dan has a blast climbing to the beat of the music, and his eclectic hip hop, rock and electronic jams might make you sing out loud while you work up a sweat!
Jovana was raised in Brunswick, OH. She is currently finishing up her degree in public relations with a minor in marketing, so most of her time away from the studio is spent studying. Woo! Jovana teaches for the feeling she gets when she knows her clients are having as much fun taking the class as she is leading it! Her goal for each class is to make everyone feel confident, happy, and ready to take on the world when they leave the studio.
Megan is from South Bend, IN. When she isn’t at Rise Nation, Megan is working her “second” job as an Orthopedic Surgery Resident at the Cleveland Clinic or catching up with family and friends. Megan’s creative use of alternative and pop music brings a unique vibe you won’t find with any other instructor!
Laura was born and raised in Broadview Heights, OH. Her life motto consists of four words: Eat, Sleep, Dance, Repeat. As a dancer, Laura loves turning the music up and creating an environment for you to move your body! There’s nothing better for her than playing her hip hop, R&B, and electronic music with people from her favorite city!
Anna is born and raised in Cleveland, OH and has always been a die hard Cleveland fan. She recently got her degree in Exercise Physiology and is currently studying to be a nurse. When Anna isn’t climbing or studying, you can find her boating on Lake Erie, hanging out with friends and family, or traveling every chance she gets. In Anna’s class, not only will you sweat while working out to your full potential, you will smile, laugh and dance at the same time!
Nadeen is from Cleveland, Ohio. She’s a litigation attorney and certified yoga instructor who brings her love for fitness and mindfulness to her classes. Her goal is to help everyone achieve their physical goals, while having fun and finding stress relief. Nadeen’s classes bring a mix of hip hop from every era as well some electronic dance music and are designed to help you “let go” and feel the energy!
Kat is from Toledo, OH but has called Cleveland home for 6 years. Her “day” job is a Cleveland Clinic Emergency Department Administrator. As a Rise Nation client, she appreciated the incredible physical and mental benefits of both the workout and atmosphere that the studio offers and wants to share that energy in her classes. You will find an eclectic mix of alternative, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music in her class to give you that extra push toward achieving your fitness goals and a great sense of accomplishment!
Born and Raised in East Cleveland, OH, Rasheda is a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Nurse. She is driven by her passion for fitness and aspirations to inspire others. As a natural competitor, she’s always ready to take any challenge head on and conquer it. Rasheda’s love for fitness, music and people make her classes challenging yet fun. Expect to climb to some heavy hitting Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, and Pop tracks that will make you push harder and test your limits. Her positive and encouraging energy along with the heavy beats in her playlists will motivate you to power through every climb and come back for more!
